About Day Nurseries Act for Child Care Supervisors of Ontario
The Government of Ontario has partnered with TFO, Ontario's French-language educational communications authority, in order to develop the Day Nurseries Act for Child Care Supervisors of Ontario website.
This website combines text with photos, videos and interactive graphics to illustrate the purpose and importance of the Day Nurseries Act and its regulations.
This website is universally available to all child care supervisors in Ontario in order to help them to better understand provincial licensing requirements and improve compliance with the Day Nurseries Act and other legislation.
It provides users with:
- licensing requirements;
- rationale for legislated requirements;
- samples of good practices which could be incorporated into licensed child care programs.
